Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín

Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín is an multi-award-winning instrumentalist and composer from County Mayo, Ireland.


She has received many accolades throughout the years including the 2022 Arts Council Ireland Next Generation Artists Award, multiple All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil titles, The Camac Trophy Award at Lorient Interceltique Festival, Milwaukee Irish Festival and Irish World Academy Partnership Award, Mayo Young Person Of The Year Award and is a two-time Oireachtas na Gaeilge champion.


Éadaoin has collaborated with internationally renowned artists across a diverse array of genres and performed on world renowned stages such as Croke Park, the Aviva Stadium, Broadway, RDS, National Concert Hall and The Barbican Theatre in London to name but a few. Her music has taken her to China, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, mainland Europe, Canada, North America and frequently to Áras an Uachtaráin to perform at the invitation of President Michael D Higgins. She is one of the current fiddle players in Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance.
