My name is Ciara O Connor(Ní Chonchubhair) and I am a bilingual Life Celebrant and Solemniser. I live in Waterford, Ireland with my partner Daithí, our dogs Oíche and Ocras and our beautiful bees.
Writing Love Stories for couples is my favourite part of the celebrant wedding experience. I will make contact with you both together and individually to help craft a love story that truly reflects your journey so far. My love stories are a performance which draw in the guests and leave them with a clear picture of your love for each other. With a mix of humour, romance and sincerity I will set the tone for a day full of celebration of your life-long commitment to each other.
I will work with you to mold your personalities into the ceremony through ceremony enhancements which reflect you as individuals, your families and also your future plans together. Haven't found a ceremony enhancement that fits the bill yet? Fantastic! We will make one up! My ceremonies are truly unique with little twists the guests will not have experienced at any other wedding.

Together we will craft a celebration to be remembered forever by everyone who attends. No idea is too big or too small, too romantic or too silly. This is your wedding and I will give you the unique experience you deserve.

The Best Day!
We absolutely loved having Ciara as our celebrant! She was so helpful and personable from the first meeting right up until 'I do'! She's an amazing storyteller and brought our story to life so well. We loved the rituals we chose and Ciara was just a fountain of knowledge on the history of all the different elements and was able to give advice throughout. She got so many compliments from our guests and we'd 100% recommend Ciara to anyone who's looking for a fun and eloquent celebrant, who'll bring a bit of craic to your ceremony too :)

Our Perfect Ceremony
We booked Ciara for our wedding for March 2024 in The Set Theatre in Kilkenny. We had met Ciara at a wedding fair and we were delighted that we were able to book her for our wedding. The ceremony was absolutely perfect, it was so personal and full of love and laughter. Ciara made us and a room full of our family and friends feel so at ease and engaged with the ceremony. We had so many Lovely comments after the ceremony from our guests about how fantastic Ciara and the ceremony was. Ciara made the process of putting together the ceremony so simplistic with plenty of suggestions for us to choose from to make it perfect for us. Always at hand to answer any questions, which was a great help when organizing a wedding. We would highly recommend Ciara as a wedding celebrant.

Amazing celebrant!
We couldn't be happier that we chose Ciara as our celebrant. She made our ceremony feel so special and personal. Preparing our ceremony was a breeze and so enjoyable! Best wedding decision ever
Wow, where to start…Ciara designed and delivered a wedding ceremony that will live on in our memories forever. The ceremony was fun but sincere, and every word felt like “us” rather than a standard ceremony script. Our families were incorporated into the ceremony, Ciara’s partner performed beautiful music to accompany her words…overall, it was just the most special memory. Ciara made the planning process so easy and fun, although I’m sure it must be really hard work to put together a ceremony as comprehensive as ours it always felt effortless to collaborate with her. Cannot recommend enough!

Absolutely wonderful!
Ciara was absolutely wonderful to work with and she really delivered the ceremony of our dreams. She's so lovely, extremely creative, and her ceremony script was excellent. We wanted to involve a relative and she happily facilitated this and made sure we were happy with everything before the big day. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Our amazing wedding!
Ciara was an amazing celebrant from the beginning of our wedding planning until our big day. Ciara gave us the most unique and personal wedding ceremony that I have ever experienced. Alexandra & William here! Well where do we even start! From the moment we spoke with Ciara on Zoom almost 6 months ago, we knew we had met the perfect person to marry us! As a person, Ciara is just the most pleasant, kind, caring and interpersonal person you could meet. As a professional, you can tell she loves what she does! She is diligent, organised, detailed and makes sure that the guests are focused on the bride and groom. In our opinion, there’s nothing you can’t ask her, whether it’s simple or trivial. Many guests asked us after our ceremony if Ciara was a personal friend to us as she spoke as if we had been friends for years! That’s how much she invests in you as a couple. We can’t thank her enough for her support during the planning and actual ceremony itself. If you want to have the perfect ceremony, you can’t go wrong with Ciara!

Lough Eske Wedding
As soon as we spoke to Ciara, we knew she was the right celebrant for us. She was incredibly friendly, warm and fun and it felt like she understood us immediately. She was very helpful and patient with us in the planning of our bespoke ceremony, and delivered it beautifully on the day. An unforgettable moment, remaining ever vivid and heart-warming!
What can we say, from our first meeting with Ciara in Kilkenny we knew she was the right person for our ceremony. Her smile, warmth, sincerity, and genuine affection for who we are as a couple really came across. We never doubted from that day on that she was the perfect celebrant for us. We were not wrong, when our day finally came along on a perfect crisp sunny winter day in January 2023, it was amazing. The ceremony was full to the brim of heartfelt laughter, excitement, smiles, tears, joy, happiness, it was everything and more then we ever could have imagined. We celebrated some Celtic traditions of ring warming and handfasting, Ciara told the story of those wonderful traditions and our guests loved it. We wanted our families and friends to be part of the ceremony and Ciara made that happen and they loved it. Our guests on the day and the days and weeks that followed still talk about the wonderful ceremony and how wonderful Ciara made it. As we reminisce and look back at the wonderful photos of the ceremony, we smile and laugh exactly as we did on the day. Ciara is a beautiful, caring passionate person and we are so grateful that we found her for our ceremony and she will always be part of our special day. "Come with me. And you'll be. In a world of Pure imagination". When we think back on our ceremony there are many wonderful words that come to mind, hilarious, blessed, but above all magical and so so filled with love!! There is no doubt that because of Ciara we were able to have our ceremony exactly where and when we wanted. When we proposed the idea of a beach wedding in late December, there was absolutely no hesitation from Ciara, just the response "I can see it already"! That's one of the many amazing things about Ciara, her imagination and openness is unparalleled and beautiful to watch in motion :) The whole journey from our first chat, to walking down to the beach in our wellies, to signing the big green book, was seamless and so relaxed. Her knowledge of all the different traditions we included, sand, hand-fasting and even talking shots saying Sláinte, was a beautiful bonus. If there were more than 5 stars we would give them! Magic in the making
When we lost our first celebrant with a short few weeks to the wedding, I began to despair. We knew what we wanted to the fine detail and we were worried that the person who would take on the job would have to be really on board with going with the flow. That’s when I remembered Ciara. I had seen her Instagram videos and was blown away by her. I had said to my now husband, it’s a shame we hadn’t seen her first on our searches for a celebrant. By chance and luck and I think a bit of magic, Ciara agreed to chat with us about our wedding and to restructure her schedule to fit us in mega last minute. We knew from the off that she would be the person to marry us. She didn’t bat an eyelid at our micromanaging and mad ideas. She was a consummate professional, offering us support, advice and encouragement to go for our own take on the day. A few short meetings and google doc and we were all the way to our big day. The wedding ceremony couldn’t have gone better and that was largely due to Ciara. We weren’t so much nervous as too very overwhelmed introverts who had finally opened their Love up for all to see. Whenever we got lost, which we often did in all the love, Ciara was like a beacon guiding us back to the moment and to the important job at hand. She made every single person there feel as though they were in the company of a great friend…. Many guests thought she had to be our friend because of her ease with us. She made us all feel held and seen in the way she weaved our ceremony together. She gave ample time for laughs and tears. Any couple would be lucky to have Ciara marry them. She is truly one in a million and what she did for us on our wedding day will last with us throughout the years.

Wedding Ceremony by Ciara
Ciara was amazing, she truly was! We decided to go with a celebrant for our marriage as we aren't particularly religious but wanted the ceremony to be personal to us as a couple. Ciara was definitely the woman for the job! So down to earth and so knowledgeable around the history of marriages. The story telling really drew our guests in. We received so many compliments about Ciara and our ceremony. We even had a few "this is the best wedding I've been too" comments. We can't wait to get our video back so we can watch it over again. Perfectly Crafted Ceremony
Ciara wrote and delivered a fantastic ceremony for our wedding day. She really captured the essence of our relationship in the love story she wrote and the ceremony itself was fun, slightly different and relaxed, exactly as we wanted! A lot of guests told us that both the ceremony and Ciara's delivery were amazing. Ciara was fabulous to work with and delivered exactly what we asked for. The Best
We found Ciara through a friend of ours and oh my gosh! How lucky we were! Ciara was absolutely amazing and everything and more we could have asked for in a celebrant. She was very attentive to what we wanted and didn't want for the ceremony and also gave helpful suggestions. We had multiple meetings Ciara which was really nice because it made us feel like she was really taking care of us and got a chance to get to know Kevin and I. This really showed when we heard our love story she had written for us and everything in between. We had multiple friends and family come up to us after the ceremony to tell us how amazing Ciara was and where did we find her :) We can't thank Ciara enough as she made our ceremony so very special and was everything, we could of ever dreamed of. Even with a little bit of a rain, Ciara helped improvise and it still turned out perfect. It was important to us that our day was filled with laughter but also filled with the love that Kevin and I have for one another, and Ciara helped to express and share that to all our guest. Thank you a million times over
Words will never do justice on how we felt about our wedding ceremony, we wanted a relaxed, happy, sentimental day and we got exactly that from Ciara, plus more. Ciara made our day!
