Outstanding Musician
Sean played for our wedding ceremony and evening entertainment on our wedding day in July in Gougane Barra Church and Gougane Barra Hotel. He was absolutely outstanding! Our guests are still talking about him every time we meet them. We can't recommend highly enough. People keep asking me where we found him, I knew when I heard his music online that he was exactly who we were looking for, however we never actually heard him in person until our wedding day but he outdid our expectations and went above and beyond for us. From the first point of contact through email, to phone calls and planning he was exceptional and so professional and a pure gentleman aswell as being truly gifted at music. We had a small intimate wedding with only 39 people so we were thinking that the evening would be quiet and wouldn't have much dancing and booked Sean so that we would have some background music at the hotel.....it didn't work out like that.....the dance floor was full for the entire evening!!! He also had the crowd clapping in the church with his very moving version of Caledonia. We christened our baby boy straight after the ceremony and he played some of our favourite instrumental nursery rhymes through that. Again, we would highly recommend him for any event. Class act. We were fortunate enough to have Sean sing at our wedding August 6th 2021. He made such a beautiful job of the music for our ceremony, so many of our guest asked us after who he was and our priest even commented days later how he really enjoyed him playing and though his voice was just amazing. Our guests told us after our wedding that he was there in really good time and spent quite a while playing before the ceremony was due to even start. We are delighted we had Sean for our wedding and would 100% recomend him to anyone who isn't sure about who they should get. Niamh & Michael

Our guests couldn't believe how great Sean De Burca was
Sean played from the drinks reception to the end of the night for our wedding in Sneem! He was amazing from start to finish - from dealing with him beforehand to meeting him on the day, he was so nice and we could sense he genuinely couldn’t wait to play for our special day! He really set the atmosphere for the night even starting a sing song before the main courses even came out 😀 Everyone at the wedding couldn’t stop talking about how good Sean was and loved his interaction with the crowd! We originally had a ten piece band booked for our wedding but with covid we scaled this back - Sean was as good if not even better then any large band that you would book for a wedding! I would recommend him to anyone getting married or anyone looking for just a fantastic musician 😀 thanks again Sean and hopefully we’ll see you again at another event soon!

The Amazing Piano Man - Sean De Burca
We hired Sean to play at the evening reception for our small wedding in January 2022. Sean’s singing and piano playing were fantastic. I wasn’t sure we would have many people up dancing given it was a small wedding with an older crowd and I told Sean not to worry if everyone was sitting and chatting and he was just playing as background music for the evening. I couldn’t have been more wrong, he had us all up dancing all night! Sean read the crowd so well throughout the evening and honestly we all just had so much FUN! My husband and his brother have both played the piano for years and Sean very graciously let them both perform party pieces on his piano also. Sean was easy to communicate and deal with from the beginning and is fantastic value for money - one of the best suppliers we hired for the wedding, if you have him play you won’t regret it!

Simply fantastic
I can easily say that I would recommend Sean to anyone without hesitancy, for those searching for a wedding musician. Sean’s music was simply fantastic and is the first person who comes to mind now. You can quickly see that music is very important to Sean and he wants the couple to really enjoy the music. Ultimately, Sean’s music set the exact right atmosphere on the big day. The songs we selected were good, but Sean’s delivery is what elevated the music and it really resonated with family and friends present at the ceremony. Moreover, Sean was polite, respectful and unassuming in the church and seamlessly blended into the venue. We also booked Sean for the drinks’ reception. He really livened up the experience yet struck the right balance of the music not being too loud or lost. The guests could chat without the music being too loud, but also still able to enjoy the songs which were a mixture of jazz, rock and pop-based songs. A great musician overall.
