Katie Ryan – Vocals
Katie is a singer and vocal coach from Dublin. After finding her love for music and singing from a young age, she was accepted to study Musical Theatre and Popular Music in the Royal...
Irish Academy of Music where she received extensive vocal and performance training. For third level education she studied at The BIMM Institute, receiving a BA in Commercial Modern Music with a focus on Vocal Performance.
Since leaving college Katie has worked as a session vocalist for Live TV, Radio, festivals and live performances around Ireland and The UK, as well as a vocal arranger and backing vocalist in studio and live recording environments. Katie continues to perform with some of Ireland’s finest cover bands at weddings and events all over the country.
Gavin Sheridan – Guitar
Gavin is a guitarist, teacher and song-writer. Based out of Dublin, Gavin has been playing guitar for almost 20 years now and as had the privilege to study under some of the finest tutors in Ireland and the U.K.
Since completing his B.A. in Music, he has become a prolific song-writer working with some of the best session musicians in the country and releasing songs under the name ‘Sheridan‘. His works have garnered attention both home and abroad with regular radio play.
Gavin has been performing live since the age of 18 and has been fortunate to perform with many of Ireland’s best Wedding and Cover bands. Gavin then proceeded to form his own band featuring some of the best musicians Ireland has to offer.
Fernando Castilhos – Bass
Fernando has been playing bass for over 20 years. He has played with international stars such as Tony Allen, Allan Marshall, SILVA, and is currently playing for Keywest (a multi-award winning, multi-platinum selling independent artist from Ireland.
He has performed in many notable venues such as The 3Olympia, The 3 Arena, Limelight Belfast, and The Academy, as well as many national festivals. He has also toured extensively throughout the UK and EU.
Karl McCrone – Guitar
Karl is a session guitarist and producer from Dublin. He started his career playing in musical theatre pit orchestras as a teenager and has spent the last 10 years performing in some of Ireland’s and the UK’s top venues and festivals (Electric Picnic, RTE’s Saturday Night Show and London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town). Karl graduated from BIMM Dublin in 2015 and most recently from Griffith College where he studied Music Production for Video Games.
Conor Ray – Drums
Having completed a B.A. Hons Degree in BIMM Dublin, Conor has gone on to perform in some of Ireland’s most notable music venues. He has been playing in the wedding and cover scene since the age of 18.
Conor currently plays for the Irish band Keywest with whom he tours extensively throughout the UK and Europe, he also plays drums for numerous original artists and bands spanning multiple genres.

Incredible Group!
My Wife and myself hired Still at the Music for our wedding and the band were amazing and certainly made the evening with their incredible vocals and playing, there was certainly a few sore feet the next morning. The service with the band was very easy as they are quick to respond to queries and take requests, they also provided DJ services for the evening which leads to a seamless transition from the band to DJ which helped keep everyone entertained. We could not recommended them higher and they have certainly gained a few new fans from the evening with their amazing talent!

Still at the Music
These Guys are amazing!!!! From start to finish, the band were just so accommodating. They always messaged back so quickly and sent on a playlist to help choose what music we wanted to hear. Honestly, I can’t recommend them enough. Katie asked what way we wanted to do our first dance and told me to give her a nod when we wanted others to join (which I forgot in the moment). The music was perfect for everybody there. Such a variety of music was played and they really got the crown going!!! Katie is an AMAZING singer and so many guest we’re raving about them all! The DJ was just class!!!! The music was brilliant with no “luls”. He got us all out on the floor to take an amazing video of us doing a little game/ dance. We will cherish it forever. Thanks soooooo much guys!!! I am so delighted that you were my band!! P.S, thanks for signing the guest book🥹🥹 hope to see ye again!!

Fantastic Wedding Band
We had Still At The Music play at our recent wedding. From initial enquiry and booking, the correspondence with Gavin was very efficient and very easy. On the night itself, the band were absolutely super, the dance floor was never empty. They played a fantastic range of songs, catered for everyone. Katie on lead vocals is just amazing. A band like no other
Still At The Music were a highlight on our day. They performed incredibly and had our entire wedding up on the dance floor easily. They were a fantastic group to work with, especially Gavin as their bookings manager, who answered all of our questions and really put us at ease. They have phenomenal range for music and we're so thankful they joined us for our wedding. Almost every guest approached us to ask about the band and where we found them as they had such an amazing sound and presence. We also have to mention Katie, the lead singer, who was an absolute powerhouse and brought so many of our treasured songs to life.

Simply perfect! Made our day!
We booked Still At The Music with only a few weeks to go to our wedding due to unforeseen circumstances and we were so lucky to find them! Wow. They were absolutely incredible and tied our ceremony together so perfectly. Gavin & Katie learned some sentimental songs for us in such a short time and performed them so beautifully, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! Their professionalism floored us. Katie’s voice is just amazing and suits so well whether you want some slower, emotional ceremony music, or more of a party vibe for your reception (we had them for both)! They worked so well with us to create a relaxed and fun vibe for our big day, and we cannot thank them enough! 11/10!

Best band
We recently hired still at the music to share in our wedding celebration, I can not rate them highly enough. All music genres the band covered, they sounded perfect!! The guests feedback was brilliant. Katie's voice is just beautiful. Such a nice band to deal with and very accommodating and we are grateful they shared our day with us. Amazing musicians, we had some specific versions of songs we need and they nailed it, timing was impeccable there was never a lul or gap between the celebrant speaking and there que to play can’t thank them enough! really set the tone for the day then when they played our reception highly recommend

SATM were the dream band for our wedding and brought such an amazing energy to the place so that the dance floor was filled throughout the night! They played our first dance song, "Can't take my eyes off of you" by Lauryn Hill and Katie provided such stunning vocals to accompany our little routine! As the lead singer, Katie had a fantastic presence and executed a versatile range of songs expertly and with charisma. Throughout the planning process Gavin was so warm, friendly, open and professional. He listened attentively, provided helpful suggestions and had a "can do" attitude in relation to our requests. Gavin was efficient and prompt in his communications and we felt that we were in great hands due to his seamless communication and planning skills. Each one of the band members were absolutely fabulous and brought their own vibe to the band. You could tell that they enjoyed performing simply by the smiles shown on their faces when doing so. Gavin also DJd after the band finished and did a wonderful job with that too, playing all of the songs which we requested and adding in some bangers, again the dancefloor was busy until he finished in the wee hours of the morning/night. Thank you so much to each of the members of SATM, all of our guests, including us, loved you!

Still At The Music are incredible. From our very first email we knew we were in safe hands. The planning stage was met with such ease by Gavin, he’s a true professional who we instantly felt wanted to help make our day special and unique for us. Katie is out of this world, her voice is so beautiful. Katie even learned a track for our ceremony. As the bride & groom it was truly a highlight and a forever memory we will cherish. Every single guest has told us it blew them away. If you’re considering booking Still At The Music, … stop thinking and confirm, they are unreal they had our guests in happy tears during the ceremony and on the dance floor all night.

Decent
This band are solid, and kind and flexible. You won’t go too far wrong with them. I am a bit fussy when it some to music (we hired only the 3 piece set) and we requested “Lady in Red”. The version left me thinking how suitable that song is to an acoustic guitar only. When I compare them agains the best bands I’ve heard, it leaves a little to be desired. But, if I think about ‘wedding bands’ or ‘cover bands’ it’s very good. And I’d have no doubt that they can deliver as a full-band. My small family gathering was ‘electrified’ by them and we really enjoyed it. It’s a 5-star review and it’s well deserved. There’s nothing bad here. no complaints

The WOW of Still at the Music.!
Gavin and SATM were the ultimate event/wedding band. Booking was made so easy and flexible. Play lists were adapted to the couples choice and supplied well in advance. The Band arrived early and were set up ready to party when we were. And what a sound and presence. With Female vocals adding the extra touch. The floor was full all night with the follow on DJ completing the show. STILL AT THE MUSIC was one of the highlights of the wedding. Thank you. Lorna & Daniel.
