The Electrix are an award winning 5 piece band with a wealth of experience within the Irish music scene. Voted Best Wedding Entertainment in 2019, the band members have performed and toured with many highly acclaimed acts such as Picture This, Ryan Sheridan, Gary Barlow, James Blunt and Olly Murs. As well as performing in some of Irelands biggest venues including the 3 Arena, The Olympia and Nolan Park, Kilkenny.
Based in County Laois the band are managed and fronted by Damian Carroll on Lead vocals and acoustic guitar. He is joined by Colm Lindsay on lead Guitar/vocals, and Lenny Cahill on piano & keyboards. The rhythm section consists of Darren Sweeney on bass and vocals and Jonny Field on drums & percussion, a graduate of the British & Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM) in Dublin
The band perform extensively at weddings, corporate events and also in some of the best live music venues throughout...
Ireland. They have been listed as finalists in the Mrs2Be Band of the Year Awards, and have also been listed in the top ten wedding bands by the Weddings Online Awards.
The setlist caters for all tastes and ages that can include everything from wedding standards to classic & modern chart hits. The Electrix are also proud members of the Wedding Band Association.

The Electrix played at our wedding on September 2nd 2023. The lads were so easygoing and Damien was super quick to respond to any emails we sent regarding our booking. They even learned a song we requested for our first dance and played it beautifully. They filled the dance floor throughout the night and were such craic. They played all the right tunes and knew how to get the crowd going. The DJ who played after the band was also brilliant and played every floor filler to keep us dancing the night away. This is the band you need to book for your wedding!! Honestly we cannot thank Damian and the lads enough for how amazing they were. We had the best night and it was all down to them keeping the dance floor full the WHOLE time. From the first dance to the last song our guests were on their feet. We got so many compliments the next day of the variety of music they played and our guests are still talking about it weeks after the wedding. I cannot recommend these enough! Thanks a million đ

Highly recommended
Damian and the Electrix played our wedding in October last year. They played for the drinks reception, as our band and dj. Our guests were raving about them before the meal! They kept everyone on the dance floor all night. Their setlist was class and we loved that they learned and played our first dance for us. Nothing was a problem. Best Ever Decision
Damien and the band covered our full days music. Ceremony, reception and DJ. Best decision ever because they nailed it and it was a massive relief to have it all covered. Everyone was blown away and commented on the music and it's more impressive because it was an Irish/Spanish wedding with guests from all over the world with different tastes. No jokes the dancefloor was full throughout, they worked the room had and everyone up dancing and laughing and smiling.

We had our wedding on Friday the 28th of January. We had Damien sing during our ceremony and we had the the whole band back that evening as our main band. I couldn't recommend them enough. Wish we could do it all over again.
We had the Electrix play at our wedding over 4 months ago back in October. We had never heard them play before but our DJ Eddie Hughes highly recommended them to us and we were not disappointed. Damien was an absolute pleasure to deal with and was always at the end of the phone with any query. Even with trying to figure out times with restrictions, nothing was a problem (none of that mattered on the day as we got married on 'FREEDOM DAY' đ The dance floor was full all night, the groom even got to go up and 'sing' with the lads đ and to this day our family and friends are still speaking about the band. So many people speak about how the lead singer Damien was amazing and we fully agree. We just wish we could do it all over again. Thanks so much lads for everything. Laura & Brian Dargan

Out of this World
what an amazing band is all I can say from the minute we first heard the electrix play in matt the Millers we knew we had to have the play at our wedding (even when we postponed cause of covid our new date had to have the Electrix)....damien voice is just amazing and the band were out of this world ....the interaction with the crowd was brilliant really got the crowd going the dancefloor was full all night we also had damien do our dj the transition from band to dj was so smooth the music never stop during the transition ...thank you so much for helping to make our day amazing

THE BEST Wedding Band
Damien and the boys are just great. So, so glad we booked them to play at our Wedding. From the very first point of contact, Damien was a breeze. He listened to exactly what we wanted and nothing was too much to ask. Our first dance was sang to perfection, even better than the original. The boys were able to read the crowd and they knew exactly the type of music to play. They played something to suit everyone and the dance floor was busy all night. We couldn't have asked for more and we were so happy that everyone enjoyed the night. Top class entertainment. Superb!!!
The Electrix performed at our wedding and were absolutely superb. Damian played solo at our ceremony and was simply amazing while the Electrix trio performed for a couple of hours at our second day. Couldnât recommend this band any more and our guests all commented how much they enjoyed the music. The lads effortlessly judge the room and tailor their set according to the tastes of the guests while also looking to play songs requested by the bride and groom. A great bunch of lads as well. Would almost get married again just to have them back!

Exceptional
Hi Damien We just wanted to say a massive Thank you to you and the lads for the entertainment at our Wedding on 22nd Jan in The Clanard. It was a pleasure and the whole experience from start to finish was fantastic and totally stress free. I know we had changed the dates a few times with Covid etc and it was never an issue with the band. It was very important to us that The Electrix were available to entertain our guests as we knew they would dance all night, and that we did!!! The ceremony music was exceptional and was more than we ever expected. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts, you made our Day.....and weekend!!!!
