We're the Favours, and we are a dynamic, fun and interactive four-piece band with unrivalled harmony vocals for that quality experience and sound.
If you're looking for something a little different and also want top quality, you've found it.
Individually, we have all been professional musicians on the Irish and international scene for many years. We've been on the wedding scene as a band for 15 years and enjoy a stable lineup. All band members sing, and we work hard on harmony parts which sound great and set us apart from everyone else out there.
We deal directly with our clients - no managers or agents -and that gives us the advantage of a uniquely personal touch with our clients, It also means you can get answers to your questions or have concerns addressed outside office hours.
Whether you want waltzes and jives for the oldies, up-to-date stuff for the younger folk, or floor-filling wedding classics to suit everyone, we can do it, and we can do it well. We have a unique sound system to cater for the smallest venues or wedding guests who don't like loud volume - very important for...
elderly guests, for example - and we can also fill the biggest ballrooms in the country with ease and deliver top sound quality in all cases.
If you have someone in your wedding party who would like to sing with the band, we can accommodate that, and similarly, if you don't wish to let anyone perform other than the band, we will do that for you, too.
It's YOUR event, YOUR way.
Other services we offer include a professional DJ, drinks reception and civil ceremony music, all tailored to you and your unique wedding. However you imagine your day, we are here to deliver it, and have your guests talking about it for a long time afterwards for the RIGHT reasons.
We are fully insured, which is a requirement of a growing number of venues.

We are so happy you were part of our big day.
We got married in October and we had the favours play at our wedding. Mick and the guys were absolutely amazing. From the time we booked them until the actual wedding they were so professional. We had to cancel our wedding twice due to covid but the guys were so understanding and accommodated us on both cancellations. From the first song until the last song the guys were so good. They had the dancefloor full all night. They got our guests up at the start and we had a bit of a sing song. Its was amazing. All our guests couldn't speak highly enough about them. There is so many wedding bands out there but honestly these guys are simply the best and we would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Mick and all the guys from the Favours. Myself and my Wife booked The Favours band after meeting them at a wedding showcase. Other than marrying eachothrr the best decision we made. Mick and the band went above and beyond for us both. We will always be forever grateful for them. Our dance floor was hopping from start to finish and everyone still talks about them and how good they all were. Would HIGHLY recommend 👌

An amazing alternative which everyone loved
We had the pleasure of having The Favours perform at our wedding in Castle Durrow on 8th October. The guys were absolutely outstanding and the dancefloor was full all night. Mick was such a pleasure to deal with from the beginning. We didn't want to do a formal first dance and Mick and the guys came up with an amazing alternative which everyone loved. Anyone I've talked to since the wedding have said how much they enjoyed the music. I would highly recommend the guys for your big day and I just hope I have another big event at some stage in the future that I can have the guys come play again!

The dance floor was full all night!
The Favours played at our wedding in Cork on the 2nd of October and they were fantastic! We had only seen videos of the band and they were genuinely even better in real life! The dance floor was full all night! Mick was so lovely and so professional to deal with and we want to say a huge thank you to all the band for being such a brilliant part of our day. Smiling just thinking back!
What can we say? The Favours were our wedding band and were without a doubt one of the highlights of the day- got the crowd going from the very first note! Lively, entertaining and sounded great! Every guest mentioned how brilliant they were in the days that followed. Mick and the lads were super to deal with too. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to any couple that loves great live music. Smiling just thinking back! They were class!

So professional!
We had The Favours play at our wedding reception at Corick House Hotel. I can tell you now that the dance floor never emptied all night. Mick and the band were so professional and really made our day the best it could be. They played a wide variety of music and were great craic too. We would highly recommend them. Absolutely incredible from start to finish!!
We had the Favours play at our wedding recently and OMG did they blow us all away!! They were absolutely incredible from start to finish!! Soon as they got there they had the whole crowd on the dance floor, engaged and hyped up!!! We wanted a band who could be please a crowd of all ages and Mick & the lads did not disappoint :) Everyone there raved about them and they honestly made our wedding night!! They got my husband and I up on stage playing air guitar and it really was such a unique and special moment for us!! We paid €100 to have the live saxophone and this just took it up a whole new level!! Would 1000% recommend and I honestly will be booking them again in the future for any parties!! Thank you thank you to all the amazing lads for making our wedding night a dream come true!! We cannot thank you enough!!!!! Louise & Noel Brady!!

A 5 star rating is not high enough!
Mick and The Favours, where to even begin. A 5 star rating is not high enough in our opinion. From the first phone call to Mick to make the booking to our last dance it was an absolute pleasure. We cannot recommend The Favours enough and we have been sure to pass on our recommendations as have our wedding guests. Most definitely one the the best decisions we ever made for our Wedding Day.

The FAVOURS!!!!!!!!! Where do I start????
The FAVOURS!!!!!!!!! Where do I start.....from my very first phonecall with Mick, I knew we were in the best hands and had picked the BEST wedding band in Ireland for our Big day!! We had booked the Favours in 2018 for our 2020 wedding - which due to the pandemic, we postponed to 2021!! Mick stayed in touch throughout, constantly checking in, talking about our favourite music etc... 2021 came... and we had regular phonecalls with Mick discussing the best craic and how the night would play out! All I can say is....WOW, the Favours were the talk of our wedding! Beyond EPIC! Got the whole crowd going from start to finish, genuinely nice guys and super talented! We are beyond grateful they were part of our big day and cannot wait to see them in a live gig again!!!! Mick and the lads THANK you!!!!! Your a pack of legends !!! Liz & Gav x

a wedding band with a difference
We booked The Favours for our wedding in Mayo, Mick was fantastic with communication in the run-up and the guys were absolutely brilliant on the night itself!! There were people on the dance floor all night and we had so many of our guests comment on how excellent the band were afterwards. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding band with a difference, who will ensure that the dancefloor is never empty! Thanks guys 🤗

What can I say about Mick and the rest of the guys?!
Myself and Ewen got married way back at the start of Sept 2021! I’m only figuring out WS.ie review so this one is a little late! What can I say about Mick and the rest of the guys?! They were simply fabulous! It was back at the time when music at weddings had a big question mark hanging over it and Mick was amazing to deal with right up to the day of the wedding, no stress, no issues and always prompt with a reply! This was our 2nd wedding day as we had to reschedule our whole day and this was also no problem! He made a very stressful time a complete doddle!! The wedding itself was amazing. These guys know how to make a party really fun! Half our guests came from Scotland and they are still talking about the band nearly 6 months on! If you are planning a wedding do yourself a favour and book these guys. You can be 100% sure your guests will have the best time! Our dance floor was full all night! Thank you guys for giving us and our families a night we will always remember! ❤️

Highly Recommended!
We had The Favours for our wedding day and I have one word for them, Fantastic!!! They had the guests up dancing from the moment they started till they finished! All my guest kept saying to me that the band were brilliant! Thank you guys for helping make our day so special!! Highly recommended!!
