Playing genuine original records hailing from the early 1900s to the 1950s, we deliver an experience that will stay with your guests long after the occasion. These records are played on two original hand-cranked gramophones which are also from the early 1900s.
The gramophones are discreetly mic'd so we can perform at any level.
In The Gramophone Social, we want to create a listening experience from 100 years ago and bring you back in time. Not only an audio event, the gramophones provide a beautiful display in any venue, with the operator dressed to charm in traditional 1920’s style.
The perfect volume for any reception, guests can chat, mingle or dance the jitterbug! A unique event for Weddings, Receptions and Corporate Events.

Unique Music Experience for Our Wedding!
We booked The Gramophone Social for our wedding reception and it was fantastic, it added such a delightful touch. All of our guests loved it and Trevor was so accommodating and friendly to any of the guests that wanted to take picture and videos. He was a gentleman to deal with and I would highly recommend booking The Gramophone Social as a unique music experience for your wedding.

Great Vintage Talking Point For Guests!
We had the pleasure of having Trevor from The Gramophone Social perform at our drinks reception at our wedding this past August. He was fantastic! I am a record collector myself and love old vintage things so to have something like this at our wedding was so special for me. Trevor's kindness and our shared enthusiasm for records made our interactions leading up to the wedding an absolute delight. He even allowed me to bring some of my own 78's to play on the day. He has a great fun presence on the day, you can tell he loves what he does. He is great with the guests that want to know more about the gramophones or old records, I saw him explaining things to some interested guests. Having the double gramophone setup with other vintage items on display is also a great photo opportunity and a unique talking point for people. His music selection was full of all the old great songs for the past. We had a lot of people coming up to us saying how great the music was. He is very generous with his time as our drinks reception ended up being a bit longer than we originally said but he was happy to stick around and play the entire thing. We are so happy we booked him.
